Baleària is the leading shipping group in Spain with 25 years of history in the maritime transport of passengers, vehicles and goods that operates 25 routes divided into 6 different countries: Spain, Morocco, Algeria, France, the United States and the Bahamas.

Its mission is to build ships and open new maritime passenger and cargo lines to respond to the maritime transport needs of society, while remaining a benchmark in the shipping sector. Therefore, technology and innovation are two fundamental levers for Baleària's identity, competitiveness and leadership.

They have a fleet of smart ships to offer a more complete and personalized end-to-end experience and exploit
the capabilities of big data with the ultimate goal of becoming a data-driven company. Furthermore, they are betting on a
more sustainable mobility thanks to the use of cleaner energies to achieve the decarbonization of its activity
maritime by 2050.

As part of delivering on their strategy, they needed to keep the ERP solution as up-to-date as possible.
They were looking for a platform on which it would be easy to innovate, that would provide greater simplicity to management and an environment
friendlier and more collaborative. For this reason, they decided to carry out the “Brownfield” conversion to the SAP S/4HANA system.
