Situation
- The classic PDF format has become the "standard" for electronic invoices. According to German and European authorities, a PDF document is not a correct electronic invoice because the document cannot be automatically processed in electronic form.
Challenges
- Therefore, there is an obligation to send electronic invoices (Xinvoice) to Authorities from 27.11.2020.
- Paper or pure PDF invoices will then no longer be accepted.

- With our app you can easily create and send X-invoices from your usual process without any additional effort. The app extends the functionality of SAP Business Bydesign to add some additional fields and information relevant for XInvoicing, such as contact person information, shipper IBAN, etc.
- The app also con-verts newly created invoices in SAP Business Byde-sign into the desired Xinvoice format and sends the Xinvoice by e-mail after a successful completeness check. Using these functions, invoices in the appro-priate format XRechnung without having to change the way you work.
