The company has carried out a centrally managed international project with local partners under the United VARs umbrella

Industrias Alegre is a business group with an international presence dedicated to the manufacturing of plastic injection and die-casting parts, in addition to additive manufacturing with Polypropylene (3D printing) and Hybrid Box packaging, a reusable and returnable packaging of its own design. Focused on the automotive, logistics and specialized industry sectors, they have a headquarters in Valencia (Spain) and subsidiaries in Poland, Romania and Mexico.

At a time when global industrial activity, and more convulsively the automobile industry, is going through very difficult times; Industrias Alegre, following its Strategic Plan, continues to transform by betting on new technologies. To achieve this, they have embarked on a global project to transform the company into the Connected Industry. Among other projects, they decided to improve their R/3 ERP to a global SAP S/4HANA implementation from Spain, with international roll outs after the opening of a factory in Poland and, in the near future, to the rest of the subsidiaries.

• Industrias Alegre worked with a very efficient vertical ERP in AS/400, but it had already become obsolete.
• To open their new plant in Poland in 2016, they decided to implement SAP R/3HANA. To do this, they had the support of SEIDOR from Spain and coordination with local partners from each roll out country linked to the United VARs association.
• After completing the project, they decided to implement SAP S/4HANA as the group's standard ERP, carrying out a prior conversion process from R/3 to S/4 to roll out the rest of the offices. The start-up, although it suffered some delay due to the pandemic, was a complete success with hardly any incidents.

in Poland.
